Providing Neutral Services
At Patterson Bookwalter, we encourage clients to consider alternatives to litigation, including mediation. Patterson Bookwalter can serve as a neutral mediator for clients who choose this route. When you hire a mediator, you are hiring them for the specific, neutral mediator role. This means that if you hire one of our attorneys as your mediator, they do not represent either party as they are a third-party neutral focused on facilitating a resolution of disputed issues.
Our mediators are skilled in listening to the concerns and needs of both parties and guiding the parties to a fair and mutually agreeable outcome for all issues at hand. They will also draft the settlement agreement for finalizing the matter once all issues are resolved.
Why Mediation?
Litigation can be an emotionally and financially draining process. At Patterson Bookwalter, we always want to help you consider alternatives to litigation. We find that mediation allows both parties to have their issues heard and can often result in a fair compromise that works for both parties, without enduring litigation. Even if your matter was initiated in the Court, moving your matter into the mediation process is an option to consider.
